An Arrogant Chicken

Once, in an animal village there lived a beautiful Chicken with her white and soft feather. Everyone amazed to the Chicken. When she was singing a song, all of the villagers messed around at her. Even, the King of the village ever said to her.

“Hey, Chicken. Your voice is awesome”

“Thank you, King. It’s too nice for me to have your praise”

“it doesn’t matter. That’s a fact”

On the other hand, there was an ugly Dove who had a brown feather lived far away from the villagers. There were  no one who wanted to be her  friends. Only the chicken did it. Unfortunately, she often asked the dove to do all the things in her house, just like a housekeeper. Poor of the Dove!.

Until one day, the Lion announced a competition.

“Announcement, listen to me please. There will be a competition along the villagers. And the winner will be the icon of this village. The first selection is about your attitude. And the second one is a siging competition. The competition will start today. Is there any question?”

“what about the juries? How can them evaluate our attitude?” the Chicken said.

“Oh, that was our secret as the juries. Just doing your daily activities like your habit. Ok”. Answered the Lion.

“yes, King”. The chicken said.

All of the villagers on those village followed the competition and tried to be the best.  Even they played trick and scolded each other to be the number one.

The Chicken was thinking all day long about it. The dove was singing a song when she passed her.

“hey you. Your voice is so bad. Don’t sing again. You make me getting a headache and earache!” said the Chicken to the Dove.

“yeah, i know. But please don’t be so rude at me. I’m your friend, aren’t i?” answered the dove.

“ok. But don’t you do it again!” the Chicken said.

But actually, she had an envious feeling to the dove because she thougt that  her voice was nicer than hers. That’s why she asked her not to do it again. She didn’t want everyone knowing about it. Without anyone knew, one of the juries saw the Chicken and the Dove. She thought that the Chicken was so cruel.

The singing competition came. All of the villagers went to the hall.

The Lion “Now, big applouse for the next partisipant. Here is the Chicken”

The Chicken tried to do the best. But, she got a cough. So, she couldn’t sing well. Until the juries had to take her out. One of the juries pointed the Dove to come forward and sing a song. He was the one who saw the the Dove and the Chicken a few days ago. Finally, the dove sang very good and be the winner. 

The Chicken heard about it and wanted to say sorry to her.  The Dove forgave her and they lived happily ever after.

Moral value :

Don’t be an arrogant and a rude person,

Keep doing what you want to do. Don’t ever dare to dream. A dream, an effort and a prayer. That’s the point.

Sorry, I made this story by my self. That’s why there are so many simple sentences.
